The history behind our service and commitment.

1942: Organized as a volunteer community fire brigade and Original Fire Hall #1 (10th Ave and Island Hwy.) opened

1966: CRFFU was organized and affiliated with IAFF

1968: Current Fire Hall #2 (Larwood Rd.) opened

1978: Current Fire Hall #1 (13th Ave. & Dogwood St.) opened
